There are some things that are timeless: the dusk that settles over an ocean at sunset, fireflies that lead you home, the song of a cicada lulling you to sleep in the south…and love. Neoklis and Antri are a special couple. You can feel their love and connection the second you see them walking together; and the way they communicate with a gentle gaze. They celebrated 5 years of marriage with a romantic and intimate anniversary session set at the chalk cliffs of Ayios Georgios Alamanou. Flambouayia Events created a banquet for the couple in the colours of the sea with a combination of fresh and dry flowers to complement the white chalk cliffs. Andri a popular TV presenter, fashion designer, and model in Cyprus and Greece, did not have an intimate photoshoot with her husband, Judo athlete Neoklis Skouroumounis, after their wedding despite the countless photoshoots she had in her modelling career so far. Because of their hectic careers they did not even manage to have an after-wedding photoshoot. This is the first time they photograph together!
We were lucky to double the joy since young Argyro was celebrating her 3rd birthday on the day of the photoshoot, and she joined us for some very cute images!
Some words from Antri:
“The only time Neoklis and I did an intimate photoshoot of just us was on the day of our wedding. Our lives have been a whirlwind of events since: a hectic career building our home and having our precious daughter, Argyro. So many changes and with life moving along so quickly we sometimes forget to slow down, reflect and celebrate our love. As our 5th anniversary approached, we wanted to do something memorable and capture this special moment in our marriage through an anniversary session. Our love has grown deeper and stronger after the birth of our daughter and we feel so grateful for this beautiful life we get to share together. Being photographed and sharing tender moments on the day of the shoot felt so nostalgic of our wedding day. These photos will be treasured forever and they were the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary this year.”
The couple’s words of wisdom for other couples:
“We haven’t had years of experience with marriage but we’ve certainly walked through some seasons together!
– Support each other’s goals and dreams
– Be kind. Be grateful.
– Learn the art of compromise.
– Don’t give up on each other.
– Have some adventures while you can.
– Set aside time to connect as often as possible.
– Never stop being friends.
– Know that good marriage is like good wine—it only gets better with age!”
