Today I would like you travel with me in the land of fairy tales, Czechia, for an opulent wedding that took place in a Palace in the heart of Prague, just next to the Prague Castle.
The Martinicky, a late renaissance Palace, and one of Czechia’s most exclusive places to get married. The celebrations started with the Traditional Chinese tea ceremony. The bride and groom kneel in front of their parents and serve them tea as an expression of their gratitude and respect.
I have confessed my deep love for “First Looks” numerous times. There is a reason for this. They’re BEAUTIFUL AND EMOTIONAL! All brides REALLY want a REACTION from their groom.
The couple’s portraits took place in the gorgeous gardens of the Prague castle. Our bride is wearing a Maggie Sottero.
This is the formal arrival of the couple at the castle in an antique Mercedes Benz.
There was classical music and poetry readings, there was pure finesse, as one would expect! It took place in the grand hall of the Palace with beautiful light coming from the windows that surround the hall! The tiles and the frescos in this room are just phenomenal!
Now this is the part that makes me emotional every time. The father walking walking the bride down the isle. Maybe it’s because I have a daughter I am really close with and I see a bit of myself in this image of a father walking his daughter.
Our bride changed into her evening dress, and the guests proceeded to the dinner in the grand dining hall. We weren’t able to light up the candles so as not to damage the 16th century frescos on the ceiling and the sgraffitos, but the all the beautiful atmosphere is still there for you to enjoy!
